San Siro is a working-class neighborhood of Milan, where 11,000 people live in about 6,000 council houses. In 2014 the area was the stage of many riots, as police were trying to evict squatters. San Siro Stories is a collective project run by students of the Catholic University of Milan (MA in Journalism), which is meant to go beyond sheer crime news coverage from the neighborhood, trying to investigate the complex reality of San Siro.

San Siro Stories was presented at the International Journalism Festival of Perugia in 2015.
